Digital Camera Recomendations?!

Ive never owned one before would like some info best one for the least cash would be ideal!!! I just want to enter photo of the month!

Depends what you are after. If its just a simple point and shoot Iv used the Panasonic TZ-5 for a couple of years and it is brilliant, it has been replaced by the TZ-6 and TZ-7 which are supposed to be even better, they have a great zoom and are really sharp. Can also record HD movies but focusing can take a little longer than you want.

if you want to get in to photography properly then get yourself an slr - head to jessops and have a play with a few - best advice would be to get one that 'feels' right in your hands!
