Definite Answer Please

So do I need a left handed or right handed rear brake piston wind back tool. I have read conflicting stories. Need a definite answer before buying.

I think its universal
Both of types has the piston in the inner side ,doesnt really matter where your steering wheel is [emoji102] [emoji102]

It's nothing to do with what side the steering wheel is on its what way you turn the tool. Some say left and others say right hand.

iirc its left to open (did it few months ago) but not sure tho

If you wind it back clockwise does this not mean you need a right handed tool?

I bought Laser Brake Caliper Piston Rewind Tool 1314 3/8 drive for the 197 rears worked fine and the drive pins are the right spacing as well cost £18

Just buy a cheap kit from eBay. I got one that did left and right hand with loads of adaptors for £15. Not the best tool, but adequate for the very limited use it gets
