200: Cup Retro fit

Hi guys

Quick question;

Has anyone ever fully retro fitted a cup pack to a non.

I.e.;

Coils + dampers
ARB's
OEM Calipers
Steering rack.

If so; how much did it roughly cost?

As, speaking with the parts dept. they can order all the parts from Renault.

Springs will fit straight on but I'm sure dampers are the same.

If I recall correctly the red calipers are actually cheaper than the silver ones from Renault

I thought they were diff. dampers? Or is it just spring rate?

And the red ones are £3.80+vat cheaper - every little helps. :thumbsup:

I know that I was quoted circa £800 to swap my cup to non cup. Guess it'll be similar in reverse.

i changed the dampers and springs on mine to cup spec. was fairly easy

the steering rack is the hard part

But £800 is a bit steep. What sort of re-sale will a cup packed FF as appose to a non.

Depends on how much the buyer values it but I think Recaros increase values more.

If you were closer I'd happily swap springs and dampers and split the labour cost with you.

Only issue there is mileages and warranty.

Probably no different in resale price tbh.. You already have the extra goodies like aircon, keyless entry etc that make it more attractive to new buyers over the basic cup.

Recaros won't add any extra value but may make it easier to sell

They weren't when I ordered mine last week. The red ones were about £30 per side dearer.
