Clio 200 power flex gearbox mount insert

Hi All,

looking to give the mounts a refresh, mainly the gearbox, and lower dog bone.

obviously to get underneath the battery tray I will need to remove the battery etc. Am I likely to experience any issues, I’m reading that this causes the esp light to come on amongst several other issues.

Any one done this change and had any issues, it’s a simple job but don’t want to cause any electrical issues.

When I.disconnected the battery to do the same mount, and any other time, I get a couple of warning lights when first started (abs and traction control iirc).

They both reset after driving a short distance, then all good.

I just done this and a few lights come on and then reset them-self after a drive.

Same for me. It is nothing to worry about, the computer will just reset itself after being disconnected from the battery and after a short time the warning light should go out.

Lights come on when you remove the battery, as the ESP/ABS sensors need to recalibrate, once you have a few metres if it hasn't sensed a fault it will turn off.
