Cabasse Q?

Ive had a quick search but cant find anything. I bought my 197 with the standard cabasse headunit, it doesnt play mp3 or data cd's but my friends dad has a FF197 and his does (his is not made by cabasse) I was just a bit curious as to how many different headunits renault actually put in the 197's and why mine wouldnt play copied cd's and the other 197 does? Any help appreciated.

Hi dan.
Not sure why your cabbasse 6 disc won't play coppies as mine does.
They won't play mp3 or data discs though.

Think ren did at least 3 in the 197.
Cabbasse 6 disc.
Standard cd player
mp3 cd player.

I am trying to replace the seats and this shit is bolted to the passenger seat. at least they could have used screws

It's held on by rivets. Just drill them out, I did.
I have th cabbasse, Renault say you can't have the cabbasse and recaro as an opption as there is not enough room under the recaro for the tuner.
What a load of rubbish. The brackets are even on the recaro same as standar seats.

after I drill the rivets out how do I fix the head unit under the bucket seats? someone suggested velcro tape :S

So my cabasse player is the best out of the three.. but wont play an mp3 cd when the standard ones do? lol
