Broken down help!

Just did 40 miles, coming to my station for work and lost all throttle response.
now the car won't start and the steering won't lock.
just constantly turns over.
AA here ATM and any figure out what's going on.
got the reader out and said it had a multi cylinder misfire but I can't say I've been aware of it.

The multiple missfire code is a bit of an enigma as it can mean lots of things.

I had a similar thing happen to me and it turned out to be a shagged alternator and dead battery.

The car just lost all power, lights, functions etc. when turning it off steering wouldn't lock and car wouldn't restart.

Well she is on the way to be dumped on renaults forecourt.
he said it doesn't look like its getting fuel so possibly fuel pumps packed in. Would this cause the throttle to go dead?

the car wanted to start but just couldn't get it.

Anyone else suffer this mine was the fuel pump.
£560 to get a new one and have it replaced not so fun.

yep been plenty on here report fuel pumps failing....
