Bonnet gas strut

I'm after a bonnet strut. Can't seem to find one

Can they be fitted to a 197 ?

Would need to get the bonnet weighed first then pick a strut to suit, I think 5kg needs an 150nm strut.

Finding space is the big issue tbh all the other stuff is just basic engineering and maths, considering the size of the clio bonnet I'm pretty sure a strut for a kitchen cabinet might be enough, maybe need two
 
That's what I was thinking there so small :L I'll have a okay about and post my results in a few weeks :smile:
