Ben Nevis by the Carn Mor Dearg Arête.....?

Hi all,

Has anyone ascended Ben Nevis by the Carn Mor Dearg Arete? I'm going in 4 weeks, on 18th may. How much snow should we expect there to be at that time? (I understand it's difficult to predict, but worth asking!)

Ive done Snowdon via Crib Goch, so apart from the potential cold and snow underfoot uk ow what to expect.

Anyone done it or have and advice/comments?

I know Mike has done Ben Nevis.

I've done Ben Nevis twice, but not that way lol.

Looked at an O/S map, and I feel tired just looking at that way

Yeah it's a long way, about 12 miles with an ascent of 1600m! I've got 4 weeks to get fit! lol
