Until someone modifies one assumptions are all we are going to have. The fact that the box has a torque limit will be a massive factor on modifying the lump.

All VAG DSG boxes have torque limits, they tune just fine?! The torque converter can be adjusted along with the mapping

I had all this negativity, I had the first golf ED30 in the country to be mapped by Revo - everyone said the gearbox would fail- nowadays they are running round at ~400bhp with no issues
