I did go to Renualt yesterday to sell mine and they had a couple of 200Ts in along with Meg 265 as well at the Red Bull Megane.
The 200T is growing on me, they gave me a lot of stick for going and getting an ST

Well Ashton, you are just dissapointed, that ben said what is true and what you dont want to hear. but this is the truth, the new car is crap compared with the old in terms of looks and driving experience, whether you like it or not.
Have you driven one? Im pretty sure ashtons not disapointed as he didnt buy it through blind faith. And if you beive anything the media say, more fool you, the 197 got the same when that first came out. Its just one big bandwagon, and they all jump on it.

I thought that too, put me off 5th gear tbh. The drift test was the worst but then that's all Tiff seems to do these days, I thought traffic light gp's were where the battle of the todgers was won not driftin round tescos car park.

I think if you read all of the thread you will notice that I'm not really fussed what the media say about the 200T
I bought it because I like it. To be fair I couldn't give a toss if you think it's crap, the media thinks it's crap blah blah blah
its that crap the the new clio cup car is 7 seconds faster around snetterton
It was only two seconds faster but still an improvement, can't see Renault going backwards.

Yeah.
I think it was inevitable that this car would get slated, look at the 197 when that came out. Apparently they're slow and heavy and unresponsive... But the 200 with about three parts changed is "King Of The Hot Hatches" for the last hundred years according to every journo under the sun. The last FST was a bit damp but the new one is apparently worth w@nking over. I take car reviews like film reviews, essentially it's one persons opinion.
People raved about the F355 but having driven one I can honestly say it is not a nice car to drive and I just don't get the appeal. It's not a special car by any means and it doesn't have any wow factor (other than a decent engine note) compared to how other Ferrari's feel when you get in them. But, that's just one persons opinion as well!!!

If the new Clio continues to flop! Not media but if sales remain as bad as they currently are will this be the last Renault Sport Clio?? The price it cost to design and manufacture a model such as the 200 it surely must be hardly worth it when sales are as slow as they are? The new fiesta is due to rise in price soon as sales have been so good!
Will be a shame as Renault have handled the sale of the new 200 so badly and that itself has not done them any favours. My local Renault garage which was a RS specialist branch when I got my 200 a couple of years back has a new 200 but the showroom is full of twizzys and Dacia Dusters! The new 200 is round the back sitting under a tree collecting dust!

Its worth pointing out that if you drove a 348 and a Testerrossa then the 355 was an epic improvement.
