I removed and cleaned most parts of the car, little over the top maybe but I don’t care :-p

Great job man! I don't think it's over the top at all lol. Will you just be keeping it outside and under the cover for 9months? Can I ask where you got your cover from?

Thank you, the car will be kept where it is under the cover for the full 9 months, I might take it off if the weather is good just to check the paint is ok.

Tyres have been pumped upto 51psi and I will be keeping a close eye on them to make sure no flat spots happen.

Oh and I got my cover from www.specialisedcovers.com it was custom made for the 197 so fits like a glove, took 4 weeks to be made and was allot of money but I think its worth it.

wow...I mean WOW!

Good work mate, going to wax & clean mine next weekend.

How did you remove the trim on side of windscreen??

OMG I am ashamed of mine now... :worried:

Brilliant work! I know what I need to do this weekend now haha!

hehe thanks for the comments, I must admit that was not done in one day, more like a few weekends while I waited for my cover to arrive.

Its held in by clips, start from the top and pull upwards and I think a star plastic screw at the bottom and one of them slot screws as well (not 100%), I cant remember if you have to remove the scuttle panel to get to it but should be able to tell, but it was not that dirty under there, just got to see how many clips Autoglass broke when they replaced my windscreen!!!! :jumpon:

Ah cool, think mine won't be dirty, I will leave it. Thanks.

Not sure how long for, but you are the winner at the moment loL!

Why is it off road for 9 months? Or am I being blind and missing the place where you put it?!
