Couple of weeks ago I was in a hunt for some recaro’s a couple of eBay bids didn’t go my way and all was quiet until a fellow member messaged me and offered a swap which was a fair deal.. not being the most handy with tools I managed to remove my seats courtesy of the “how too guide” on here. Once I’d mastered that it was simple enough role reversal to installing them hey presto two new fitted seats :smile: took the car to my local RS specialist where I had the air bag warning light coded out. Jobs a good in!

Sadly after that i got into some more slight modding and afew of those will praise me other will lambast me! Alas I have turned to the dark side (literally) and joined :blackdiamond:

Given the car a much needed clean also (hosepipe present in the pics) so I think that brings me up to date!

Good work Mr Bean, it is looking great with spoiler and Recaros, i've never been so torn on a spoiler, some days I love it, some days I properly hate it haha.
Suits yours though!

That is looking sweet, my friend! The Recaro seats are such a good upgrade and I'm really pleased you found a set. As for the diamonds.... well, taste is a very individual thing isn't it.... :smile::smile: :wink:

This! At least your diamonds are carbon not black! Carbon for diamonds is appropriate at least!

Post Snetterton Update:

Well Snetterton has flown by, sadly it’s a such a trek.. 3hrs each way was a killer especially last night I got to the point where I’d had enough .

Car ran faultlessly all day abit sketchy with cold underpressured ad08’s in the morning . took the car back in and pumped them up and got some heat in there seemed to do the trick.
For me I do enjoy Snetterton as a track however as essentially it’s a road car I struggled with the tight corners and body roll I don’t think my lines were too bad think I ran better this time.
3rd and final track day of the year I think.. not regretting getting into it still enjoy running out just need more practise :smile:

glad the car held up once again..well have to say that the competition was tough...lots of power wherever you looked..
time for you to think of some mods Chris??
