Back box heat shield

I was wondering if anyone has replaced the heat shield above the back box (between the car and the backbox) thats hidden by the diffuser? Or has anyone come up with a better solution? Like would putting that silver tape on the shell be enough? My car is track only.

My original heat shield has 2 big holes where it is meant to mount so need to do something :/

Get another piece of heat shield material cut out a bit and double it up if you have to so it acts like a large washer between the heat shield nut and the heat shield larger than the hole as the tape alone would me more expensive than this fix. I know your pulling your car apart at the moment but I would not mind a run to see what your mapping is like, I got an RStuner map during lockdown I would hate to spend a few hundred more and a ferry trip for no improvement.
