Now that’s interesting.... I’m surprised you lot over there touch the stronger stuff and don’t stick with beer & pretzels
However I’m sure you could’ve found a better whiskey, something Irish
I was hoping one of the Scottish members would’ve bitIrish??? My god mate!!!
Whisky comes from Scotland, everything else is a pretender!

Tbf I’m (Yorkshire)tea-total, if I had a choice it’ll be rum / vodka.
@Marsch no apology needed, no offence taken!
Kolsch is a wonderful drink! But there isn't much in the way of great breweries in Berlin. Franconia has the best stuff.
You do however have a Mikkeller bar on Torstrasse which will have an amazing selection of very good beer.
Whisky works too though!
I hope if you do get a go in a car with proper lightweight wheels you notice a difference but if it's the OEM 17's it wouldn't be enough, although you should definitely notice some extra comfort. Even just that extra bit of sidewall in the tyres (assuming similar overall rolling radius) would help for a nicer ride. Really though, to get the full effect you need to put them on your car as you'll be able to make a much more obvious comparison to what you know well. Hence me saying if ever you're over here you should try our Ultraleggera on your car.
What sort of crisps? And are they half leather half alcantara?
Something with sweet chilli. Like those Walkers Sun Bites wholegrain shenanigans, but from M&S.
No leather or alcantara, just toilet paper really, which is odd for a posh crisp.
Better is!
Kölsch isn't considered as beer here. You're wrong, very wrong actually...clicky. The best beer I actually drank so far came from the Swiss (Turbinenbraeu) but that was a wheat bear.
Like said I'm sporting H&R springs. So, I don't know what ride comfort is at all. I actually doubt a little more rubber would make much of a difference in that direction. Like I wrote somewhere in here it's something like 5mm more of "active damping material" if were talking about 215/45 compared to 215/40 and I'd say it'll depend more on what tires get used. AD08R's have reinforced side walls for example. I switched from RFT's to normal tube less not that long ago and there is no difference noticable at all if it comes to this.
Thanks for the offer but I've the suspicion you just want to steal my awesome looking and very rare rims.
Correct. Everyone knows the TSW Venom is the best aftermarket wheel. EVER.
Idiots...

That's what my mate Marcus (RIP mate) used to call me when I didn't want to go out doing graffiti when it was raining!
sorry about your friends passing mate, from that quote sounded a right laugh
I had an RST! Compomotive wheels, Avo adjustables, Escort T3, Beige injectors, Bayjoo chip and around 200bhp. Looked like this (these are Ronal wheels but pretty similar):

I sold it just over 4 years ago, 4th child on the way and needed a 7 seater!
The person wanted it as a weekend had to sit next to his 308 Ferrari!
Little lotus related, been working on this for a little while.

Fitted a fuel injection system, fast road cams, it's been painted and I've done some work on the interior. It's faught
Us every step of the way.
Love this car! I had a mechanic friend called Charlie in the 80s who worked at the local Lotus dealership. They wouldn't touch cars over 3 years old & once his apprenticeship was over Charlie rented a barn from a farmer 1.5 miles down the road & set up on his own. The dealer referred customers to him once their cars hit 3 years old. Worked well. I have vivid memories of a spin in an Elite Essex edition & also of Charlie out road testing a unique Elite convertible prototype he had worked on & coming back into the yard with the brakes glowing red hot! Sadly he killed himself on his motorbike a few months later. He did drive everywhere at 100% so it wasn't a surprise. Great memories of a lovely guy & some wonderful cars.I sold it just over 4 years ago, 4th child on the way and needed a 7 seater!
