I'm not taking sides here. I raced an r6 for a couple of years, nothing serious mind. The difference between a trackday whore and an amature racer was night and day!
Huh? Makes no sense. Trackdays are strictly uncompetitive if i was booting it "racing" i wudnt of pulled over and can assure you would have been quicker through the corner than a clumbersome r26 with cold tyres. Talk to me when ure gw cup 197 is diffed, coiled and puttin a true 200 through the wheels. Shhhhh

On a serious note, I had a bit of straight line fun with an R26 the other night and we were side by side up until 80ish before having to slow down, initially I was ahead but I'd imagine if we hadn't had to slow down he'd have begun creeping ahead rapidly.
