Alloy Refurb - Midlands?

Hi,

I'm looking at getting my R27 standard wheels refurbed in a slightly darker anthracite. Does anyone know of any really good wheel refurb places around Coventry, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Birmingham etc. Also anyone with recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Yeh, I've just been looking at them but I use my car almost everyday for work. I can loose the wheels for 2 days but no more than that. Anyone else know of anywhere good?

Tipton, Smart Car Care. Had my 197 alloys powder coated there and they were a great finish. They had my car in rather than the wheels alone, but they do both. I had a courtesy car too, but that does make it a bit more expensive.

i had mine done by sprayshack dropped the car off to him and it was ready 3 days later, did an outstanding job.. people always comment on them being done well too

Bilston road, next to A1 wheels. Their work is top notch, but it'll set you back about £80 per wheel.

Then there's BodySmart in Cannock, near RumerHill and Shorade. They'll do a really good job too, but for about £40 per wheel IIRC.

I have thought about this too, can you imagine it :lol: .

Mine need doing so bad, im off on holidays now :thumbup1: Love being at uni, so may do them myself, i paint loads of stuff so if they come out good i wouldn't mind doing a few peoples wheels, im also in west mids.

I want the wheels doing, but will probably use Smart Care in Tipton next to A1 clutches. I want a good spray shop to spray the bottom half of the rear bumper anthracite to match the front bumper & I want it to be top notch.

theres a good place in stourbridge, called douglas motors, there renault wolverhamptons approved body shop, but do anything. even thou smart care did an ok job on my back bumper, douglas motors was better.

Lap tab in birmingham they do a top job on wheels my mate gets quite good rates there too
