Alloy painting advice.

Hi Mates,

Maybe a slightly dumb question, I'm not sure.

Paint has flaked off my sport alloys.

I ordered the 205-88 (IXELL paint) from http://auto-paint.co.uk/carpaint/ like you guys recommended.

They told me I would need a lacquor with it so I bought it.

Are they right for an alloy spray, or have they just made an extra sale.

I know some dodgy Halfrauds stuff comes with claimed lacquor mixed in but I've only ever worked with that stuff for bodywork paints.

Thanks

yes you need a lacquor after you've sprayed the colour on the wheel. The base wont last long without it.

Are these air drying or bake on paints?

Just air drying, I was doing a section the size of a 2p coin was just gonna key it spray, spray, spray then polish all day.

Your gonna tell me this isn't gonna be good right? :/
