Alien Green 200 Cup *** New AG 200 (number 3) from page 85***

Looks awesome mate!

So I want to get some Coilovers, I dont see me using the car on track often if at all really, I'd like to try it once or twice but nothing serious. I do enjoy a spirited drive through the lanes quite often and I love the way the Cup suspention handles. But want a lower ride height but not via the use of springs. That being said I rekon the H&R's would be a better option for me over the KW V3's. Would anyone agree?

And N0ddie would you reccomend the H&R's ? ? ? You said on your first drive they felt similar to the Cup Suspention? How are they now?

I'd definately recommend the H&R coilovers. Just as harsh as the cup suspension but in the dry the car definately handles better. Pushing it in the wet just exaggerates the understeer a tad.

V3s would be too much for just road use tbh. I'd opt for the H&Rs or the KW V1s.

Had the 200 on the rollers again today. Quite a few really fast cars there today so in the grand scheme of things the 200 was one of the slowest there.

A few cars made good runs but a lot were down on what they had been done at previously (The biggest difference being a Jamsport tuned Focus RS that was meant to be at 425bhp was dyno'd today @ 350bhp).

So anyways. Our results:

Run 1

Max Power @ wheels- 177.7 bhp @ 7,358 rpm
Max Power @ engine- 201.7 bhp @ 7,520 rpm
Max Torque- 148.8 lbft @ 5,877 rpm

Run 2

Max Power @ wheels- 176.0 bhp @ 7,437 rpm
Max Power @ engine- 200.0 bhp @ 7,489 rpm
Max Torque- 148.7 lbft @ 5,922 rpm

So a small increase in peak power with the exhaust (Nowhere near Akrapovic's claimed increase) but chuffed none-the-less to be in the 200bhp club.

Got a wee vid uploading to youtube also. Will stick it up once its done.

Nice solid figures mate. As long as she drives well and you're happy then I wouldn't worry about what it says on the paper.

Was a good day, you missed the flames from the Evo at the end...nearly hitting the door

Lisa's car ended up 6bhp down and 8nm, which was nothing and John reassured her it was probably down to the freaky weather we had at the last outing.

Chaz's VXR sounded brilliant too. Got to be one of the best sounding hot hatches, well apart from the Focus and .R

Gutted I missed this mate was dying to hear ur exhaust to. You got a good increase in power with the exhaust cars looking real nice mate some of the cars were unbelievable what they were pushing out.was pritty chuffed way mines i got a wee video to with it giving a wee flame off its on you tube.

I do like to get our runs outta the way as I think once the big power cars go on it's a kinda anticlimax after seeing their figures.

Just read this thread from start to finish a good two hours brilliant read

Alrighty bud. We do still have "The Green Pea". Updates are on hold at present as we plan on converting the garage. So cams money is being put into the house unfortunately.

Not managed a track day yet since our wee boy was born. Too much to do and not enough time lol.

Hope to get back on track at the start of next years TD season. Still loving I though.
