Air con re-gas!

About that. I some times see them on groupon for £25. If you've not had it done before it's worth having a full aircon service which is about 50quid
 
I've always got a full service due to the price really I go to a vw dealer up here as it's next to work and customer service is second to none, i pay £70 which i Thot was a good price considering they drop me off at work in the morning after dropping the car off :smile: plus a service makes it smell nice and gets rid of any bacteria that can grow in the heater/aircon system
 
Halfords auto centre got a deal for a service for £50, from £85. I went ahead and did that, but they tell me its still not working, not made my mind up what to do about it yet, they want £50 to diagnose the problem then whatever component needs replacing or whatever it is.
 
Our local tyre place does them @ £35. That's a full vacuum, then regassed with the correct weight of gas and oil.

They pressurise the system to check for leaks if required, if it holds pressure then they will regas.

I paid £70 a couple of years ago for a service on my Clio @ an A/C specialist, had it done at ETS this time (on the Volvo) and they did EXACTLY the same as the specialist.
