Air conditioning re-gas?

Hi all,

I have climate control in my 197 and the air-con is obviously not working....or not getting cold anyway.
I’ve been reading that the condensers go quite often in these, is there any way of checking if it’s this or if I just need a re-gas?

If there's no gas in it it must of leaked out.

Take it to a place and they'll put the system under vacuum to check for leaks. The leak can be traced pretty easily by the garage but obviously this will come at an investigation cost I imagine.

Thanks for that, I’m assuming there’s no gas in the system, do you know if there’s an easy way to check?

I'm also assuming there's none in there given its not working.
And no there isn't.... Just take it in and they'll soon tell you

Sound, I’ll take is somewhere to check it first before re-gassing

if its lost "some" there is a pressure sensor that switches it off to stop it running "dry" had it a few times on mine
