ABS question

Hey guys, quick question!

I was out earlier today driving the 200 as its supposed to be driven 8), anyways, the brakes & ABS worked overtime, and I noticed something.

After using the brakes a few times with the ABS kicking in, when setting off again I can hear the noise the ABS pump makes after first starting the car...

I'm referring to the noise that is heard when first starting the car and reaching 5-6 mph that sounds like a momentary whirring/scraping.

So is it normal for the ABS pump to make the same noise after lots of heavy braking?

Probaly the ABS pump re-pressurising.

If you have no warning lights on the dash your fine, any little hiccup will set the light off!

yeah shoukd be okay mate. ure brake fluid probably got to hot and sent it doolaly.

Yeah I rang my dealer today and asked about this and its normal apparently. A friend with a Peugeot 307 has also noticed the same thing after giving the brakes a good go.
