Has anyone else found the price of this stupid?
I've been ringing round and all the stealer want £450+. All because it needs a brake fluid and coolant change. I know these things must be done but it cant take a dealer that long to do them surely?

I think I'll be making the trip to BTM

I doesnt take long to bleed the brakes, fill them up and rebleed. Same with the coolant.

I'd just find a nice cheap private garage, doesn't have to be a Renault specialist for coolant/brakes.

I paid £179 inc vat at a local garage. I supplied Motul RBF600 they supplied coolant. That price also included fitting brake lines, changing front pads and changing oil and filter which I supplied.

shizzle 450 thats may next one it's due in a couple of months as well as road tax at the same time it's an expensive do 3 weeks before christmas. think ill do what ^ muffy's done and get my front pads done at the same time.

I know mate, I got to tax it, service it, MOT it and put a new pair of front boots on this month :worried:

I can trump that, manifold, gearbox, clutch, tax and insurance. Plus £300 on parts to replace a ball joint last month. These aren't cheap to maintain!
