2nd Service

Hi All, need some advice....

is £223 all in expensive for a 2nd service? if so where can i go in South London/Surrey? the quote is from R Sport in Wimbledon.

that seems a little bit over but not a lot. Think I got it for £190 from a Renault dealer last month. Although dealers do vary a lot, one local dealer wanted £325 for the second service, complete joke

I paid £130 for my second service from a renault specalist

JMS is down your way i believe they'll still use all genuine parts and i would much rather have a somebody who deals with RS's day in day out then some young grease monkey at a main dealer who's used to working on lagunas!

second service only difference to the first is the air filter change so it should be no more than £20 more than that !

1st service is meant to be air filter, oil change and filter, pollen filter, I thought anyway.

i have looked in the 197 service booklet on mine and its 2yr/24k for air filter

it goes -

oil + filter
pollen filter

oil + filter
pollen filter
air filter

oil + filter
pollen filter
spark plugs

oil + filter
pollen filter
air filter
brake fluid

will have to check mine. I had airfilter done on first service and paid £135.

I paid £203 at my dealer. Would have got the brake fluid changed as at work we do them every 2 years but didn't wanna spend anymore!

Rip off! Im paying £98 from Northwest Performance tomorrow and its all genuine Renault bits so not to effect warranty
