So. First post in quite a while. Still got her. Still using it as a daily.
Updates...
There really wasn't anything new after I had my manifold and remap done at Engine Dynamics until December/January when I had the dreaded balljoint clunk. So we dropped some cash and basically refreshed the suspension all round where needed.
The H&R springs I had on were proving too harsh for daily use and my shocks had seen better days, So I ordered some Eibach Pro springs and a full set of Cup shocks, new top mounts and rear spring cups. Bought a new nearside inner and outer hub assembly and new wheel bearing as the balljoints were 113k miles old and were standard, so I decided there was no way they'd be coming out in one piece.
I got rid of my Heko wind deflectors as they were always dropping and causing the windows to pinch, I kinda prefer the car without now.
Then I paid a man to tidy the car up, Simon at Vehicle Valeting & Detailing in Fakenham took my car and gave it a 2 stage machine polish, wax, polish etc... Wet vac inside and even cleaned my roof lining. I didn't realise how dirty I'd let the car get until I saw the before and after photos...
This week I went and spent even more money with a new set of Calibre Suzuka wheels (17x7.5) and a pair of Goodyear Eagle F1's to replace the Yoko's I still had on the rear. So F1's all round now. Also fitted a K-Tec induction kit this morning while they've got their 10% off sale, my old airbox had a broken lid and really wasn't doing much in the way of filtering the air. Nice and bassy note on acceleration now, making me giggle like a child when I took it for a drive this afternoon.
So yeah. Now we're up to date. Excuse the dirty car, we've got seriously hard water here and cleaning a black car when it's hot and sunny out is a recipe for water marks!
