Has been a month since i picked up my 197. Has been good fun, slight learning experience as i hadn't owned anything particularly fast before, took a few days to get use to the car warming up (bunny hopping).
Took me a few weeks to grow on the white speedlines, i wasn't a fun to start off with.
Daily commute to work through town, 8 miles each way, producing around 25mpg.
Favourite part is the noise when you hit above 3,000 rpm.
Car has done 52,000 miles, hopefully will have a good few years of fun out of it, before money sense returns.

Good that you're enjoying it all so far. MPG sounds about right for a short commute, mine is the same. It's low mileage for a 197, so you should definitely have a lot more fun to come!

I like them as love contrasting colours ie white on black and black on white

I want white wheels but Mrs holds the purse strings

25mpg? God that's scary high, I do short journeys too and I struggle to break into 20mpg Lol
