try reprogramming you window, get the window to the top and hold the window switch up for a few seconds this resets the window programme so should fix the problem,

if its the dephaser pulley youll need to replace the pulley itself, the timing belt kit and you might aswell do the aux belt kit aswell,

sounds like a dephaser pulley to me jase, its the vvt pulley it can cause a diesel like noise on start up, is it only the first start? or everytime you start it?

take it to a renault dealer and get them to plug their computer on it itll bring up any faults that might be putting the light on
