    White 200 Cup - Norwich

Yeah I'm about Norwich a bit so it may have been. Someone told me they've seen another RB with white wheels in Norwich too, but I haven't seen that one!

    My RB 197

Car went in this week to have the manifold swapped out: New and old: Evidence of a previous repair: It's better, but I do wonder if there is a bit of a blow from the join. Sounds a bit odd with the windows down. Will see how it goes for now. The guy at the garage said to just pop back...

That wing is massive. Each to their own I guess. I know someone who fitted one to his Corsa VXR, but it only lasted a couple of months as he got so much grief for it lol

    My RB 197

Had the rear wheels balanced today: Had the fronts done a couple of weeks ago as, ever since I fitted the Speedlines, there was a bad vibration through the steering. The fronts were 50g and 20g out and, while having them balanced improved it a lot, I could still feel some vibration through...

    Best track tyre

I think this is probably true of all elements of car modification for track use. So many people buy a car and reel off a list of modifications that they've convinced themselves that they "need" before they can go on track but, in most cases, they don't actually add very much. The people I know...

    Anti-Roll Bar Sizes

Can you get them? What sort of price for them?

£7 for the filter?! What's it from? I am still a bit gutted that I couldn't fit it. I'm sure it will be much better than my home brew thing!

    Beanys RB 200 cup

Yeah I always think autumn/winter is the best time for track days. You lose the evening ones, but gain weekend dates and they're usually cheaper too.

    Anti-Roll Bar Sizes

So I have been doing some research, as I want to change my front ARB bushes for Powerflex ones (exhaust manifold is being replaced, so makes sense while it's apart). I saw in an old thread that the sizes are as below: Pre May 2009 (197 Cup & Non-Cup): 20mm Post May 2009 (200 Non-Cup): 20.5mm...

I got excited when I got the notification, I thought you might have fitted the air box lol

    My RB 197

My inner child loves a cone filter it sounds pretty good actually. I'm going to be jealous of the R3 airbox still though!

    My RB 197

Just taken it out for a spin. Sounds ok. Don't think it's quite as loud as the Ktec kit by virtue of the standard intake hose, but it's definitely added some much needed aggression.

    My RB 197

Time for an update. First up, now it's all settled and done some miles, I must say I'm really happy with how it sits on the Speedlines and Cooksport springs. It's just what I wanted. It's a touch stiffer than I hoped it would be, but you can't have everything I guess. Need to fit new rear...

    Lower Engine Mount Part Numbers

Oh right. So is that off a different model? It would be easier if I could just swap my existing Powerflex bush into the new mount I suppose, as buying a new bush might negate any cost benefit.

    Lower Engine Mount Part Numbers

A while ago, I put a Powerflex insert in my lower engine mount. It's improved things a lot, but I noticed that the front bush was also split, so I have been meaning to get round to replacing the whole thing. Do people just use genuine Renault ones, or are there any decent aftermarket...

    Coolant tank relocation

Renault Sport made extension hoses and a bracket to move the factory tank behind the LH headlight, allowing space for the Maxi intake. That might give you the space you need?

N/a track car Vs 225 conversion

I must say, I've rarely ever felt like I need more grunt on track. The fun for me is in the corners and, in reality, most of us probably aren't getting the most out of our cars in that respect. Going fast on the straights is just a case of mashing your right foot and, on a circuit, I'm not sure...

    Ktec Induction Kit Favour?!

Would really appreciate it! If you could get some pictures too, particularly of the heat shield, they might be useful!

    Matt's track/nurburgring RS250 Clio f1

I was going to ask about the spoiler - don't recognise it. Car looks great I must say. I was adamant that that they all need the Cup spoiler, but I think this is one of those that proves they don't!
