@nick's the S1 is great as a daily driver & excellent for cross country pace. It's very fast. Overtaking slower traffic is easy. However it's not grabbing me in the way the Clio did. Somehow it's just not as much fun to drive despite being a lot quicker. I'm really missing the naturally...
C'mon then @Big Ben , after all the fighting talk who was fastest, you or @jamesgw200? It wouldn't surprise me if you shook him off through the tight twisty section after the straight past the restaurant. He might have had you in the wider sections?

Not convinced about the Meg idea Ben. I'm missing the nat asp vibe of my Clio. Turbocharged cars may be faster but I'm so missing ragging the Clio to find the power.

Well I'm not up to date on current prices, but I loved my Continental Contisport 5s, & also the Contisport 3s before these. @sevenfourate probably has a point in advising you consider 6s!
Sorry to learn you're only doing 1 track day this year Micah. I still hope to meet Team Clique at a track day some time even though I am not an RS owner any more. Still love 'em & still a petrolhead! Probably gonna wait a while before taking the Audi on track myself due to voiding the guarantee...
