Haha I have my thoughts about selling and buying a family car/estate but I’m keen to keep the Clio. If I can upgrade the other half’s car to something a little bigger then the Clio will stay :). You gutted yours is away? Found a suitable replacement?

Not yet @Pav! Life is busy at the minute, packing our lives up currently as we are hoping to move house this Friday so long as everything falls into place!

I bought a set of Interlagos wheels and put them on my Clio. They came with no centre caps and I just bought a set of eBay for around £8. They just had the chrome diamond and not the RS logo. I couldn’t justify that money for centre caps lol.

How easy is the swapping or the overlay on the instrument panel aswell? Is it simply enough? Might tackle it tomorrow.

I had one of those fitted to my current 200, it is the bluetooth radio.

My old 197 had this style of radio; I would assume yours will be the same (mine was a 2007 R27).

It makes perfect sense to me what you are saying Jimmy. I too only use mine on short journeys, to and from work, and the car sits parked up pretty much all weekend. We have a 5 door car which is better for the family duties and the Clio seems wasted to me sometimes - probably why I am often seen...

The knock for me happens going up a speed bump and back down again. I would say it’s more pronounced on the way down though. I had a similar knock in my 197 and replaced the ball joints and shocks at the same time and the noise was cured so that’s why I’m going to replace the shock and see how...

Out of interest can I ask why for the sake of oil and an oil filter it hasn’t been done in 4 years? The cost of an oil and oil filter change isn’t that much in the scheme of things compared to other parts for these cars lol.
