    Matt's 200

The problem with all tyre reviews is the context. Firstly there will be a vast difference between both the Texas weather and surface than the A5 even today. Hoosier tyres for instance, apart from some rather obscure race series, never perform well in Europe. The biggest difference in tyres...

    Ktec Catback tips measurements?

I'll do it the easy way! From the outside edge of the defuser rings the tail pile is aprox 115mm back. Or the tail pipe protrudes into the collectors by aprox 30mm.

    Trackspec Clio 197

I'm afraid you will be paying the full £160 + vat if you wanted any as I have now only one left. If anyone has a 172 / 182 I have plenty of 15" left at £50

    Road tyre recommendations

I wrote this on another forum where someone was asking if they should fit Michelin or Kumho. There is absolutely no doubt that the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is a very good tyre. The value of that to you is in how you measure those values. The Kumho is also a very competent tyre. Will the Michelin...

    Road tyre recommendations

On line tyre reviews are, in my opinion, at very best only a very general indication of a tyres ability. Tyres test differently on the same car with the same driver on the same track just 24 hours apart let alone the very superficial tyre tests that magazine's do. Their "best" will be different...

R27 track car build- engine refresh time.

It's the air bottles you have to carry round to make these work that is the killer though.

    Will these fit 200?

Skip to 3:30 Zero stopping of feel issues at all. And feels totally fine on the road afterwards.

    Will these fit 200?

Ultimax is your generic reacement pad. Green Stuff is a supposed up grade giving better bite and working at higher temp. They just tend to make a lot more dust. Red Stuff was a hard pad for heavy SUV type stuff. It had a high friction coefficient but was not recommended for track at all...

    Will these fit 200?

    Well above Yellow Stuff.

    Will these fit 200?

Get Blue Stuff, you will be fine. PM me if you have any trouble finding them.

    Too Much or Worth It?

I have never, ever bought a car with a view to it's final value, that is a way to end up crying. I suspect a if a few people on here started adding their invoices up, £12k might look quite cheap.

    Hi

More to the point you would have a 1.4 Clio with far more power than the brakes or suspension was ever intended to cope with. While the wide front wings are bolt on, the wide rear was unique bodywork.

    Too Much or Worth It?

As with everything, it depends how you assign value to things. Some people will put £4K down then spend £300 a month for 3 years to run around in a BMW only to have to hand it back after then, with this it would cost you less and you would have an asset at the end. Owners groups are notorious...

    What next....

Over driving simply means you are trying too hard, so going too fact into a corner and then asking the tyres to drag it round, getting on the throttle too early and the like. Another one here

    What next....

Tuition. Slicks will put an inordinate more load through the car and things will wear out far far quicker. If your tyres are going off after 6 laps or just over 10 minutes at Oulton which is quite kind on tyres I would suggest you are probably over driving it. Slicks tend to be the answer to...

    2012 clio 3RS RB7 #166

Well, that is not stock suspension but more to the point, you don't have to have no body roll to exploit tyres.

Really? I think the Cup suspension is quite up for it.
