    Hyundai RN22E (upcoming IONIQ 5 N testbed)

As for the noise, it is a stripped out car so going to sound worse. But equally, if you had never been in a ICE car, you would moan about that noise too and manufactures spend huge amounts of money trying to make them quiet. It is just what you are use too. If we are still in cars in 100 years...

    Hyundai RN22E (upcoming IONIQ 5 N testbed)

But equally he should know better, submarining is the last of his worries, if he was in a situation where they were needed, at best he would suffer broken ribs and at worse a rib straight through the lungs and likely heart too. It is the whole reason for the crotch strap, it stops the buckle...

Thing is, power rarely gets you round corners faster than without power, it just gets you to the corners quicker with a bigger bill for fuel and brakes. Corners tend to be more fun that straights.

It is a trap many fall into. You start out with a car and then you want a bit extra to keep up with the slightly faster car, and then when you have done that there is the next faster car and so on. The problem is though, especially for track days, those cars you chased might not be on the next...

    Clio 200 problem

I had issues with the MAP sensor, which went none linear causing a number of problems. So although what you did do sorted it for a while, would suggest that one of those items has gone down again, I would look at the MAP also.

I think that is deliberate scare stuff. Bedford always used to be 87.5dB drive by. It was council monitored and strictly enforced on the rule that if you tripped it, that was the day done. Lots of reasons for this, but mainly Palmer corporate days are highly profitable and some silly person with...

I didn't think there were any second chances at Bedford.

Which catback exhausts are track legal? (and don't drone!)

The car is just loud inside the car with any of those exhausts. There was a reason the standard box was how it was.

    They also run slicks.

    Torque-problems at Low RPM (2300-2500rpm)

Flat spots are a common thing if the exhaust is messed with. And as said, the MAP sensor, which as you said it seems like running rich, it is more likely to be. They can go non linear, especially if you are not accelerating hard from low down. I guess the internal diaphragm gets sticky at that...

2006 Deep Black Track Shed BudgetBoltOnBuild

Too many gear changes. It might seem perverse to say, because lower gears give better acceleration, but mostly in your head you brake more, so lose speed, to get into a lower gear than you need. You never recover that speed.

    Difficult new Suspension Choice

Although I have solid top mounts, which standard suspension does not, I would be hard pushed to say it is more refined than standard cup suspension.

    Difficult new Suspension Choice

Bilstien B14 and adjustable top mounts. Makes cup suspension feel less brutal!

    Difficult new Suspension Choice

I have some 200 cup suspension if you are interested. The fronts, including spring and top mounts were on the car about 6 months, if that and the rears are springs only, so you would need dampers.
