    Alternator Part Number - 2010 Clio 200 (CR0N)

Hello everyone. My 200's alternator bearings have been whining for a while now. I'm thinking of replacing it during this summer's service. Can anyone tell me exactly the part number of the Bosch alternator used in the Clio 200? I've found part number 8200660043 which apparently is the same...

Key fob (not keycard!) Battery Replacement

So my 200's keyfob battery is on its way out. Does anyone know how to open it without damaging it? Everything I've found on youtube concerns the more classic styled key from the previous generation (Clio II). My fob looks like this: Does anyone have any idea how to pry it open?

Check your lower arm link bar(s) and Dog bone mount....

Does anyone know where I can order a genuine dogbone mount online? All I can seem to find is a Febi after market part (in my previous experience they don't last long).

Check your lower arm link bar(s) and Dog bone mount....

It's been years since I bothered with the knocking on my Clio (apparently everything is fine according to multiple dealerships and independent shops), it doesn't bother me terribly, but it is worse on summer, especially when the car's been sitting in the sun too long. Reading this thread I'm...

Scraping noise from left side of the engine when idling (with video)

Haven't changed belts recently, actually never (car is 4 years old, ~ 35k miles).

Scraping noise from left side of the engine when idling (with video)

Here's a video of the problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YCPHDJ8TQU&feature=youtu.be There's this scraping noise, audible only from outside, from the engine when idling. I believe it disappears above idle. No other weird noises and the car performs as it should. I'm guessing since it...

    Knocking on certain bumps :/

I've had this noise since about 6 months of ownership, have replaced a lot of stuff under warranty but the noise is still there, i've sadly learned to live with it...

    Cold weather = knocking noise

If it was the gearbox mount, you 'd hear (and feel it) both in hot and cold weather. If you only hear a clunk from the front right part of the car when clutching, 99% its the top stabiliser bar, even replacing it will result in some noise when the engine is cold (i.e. if it doesn't make a loud...

    Diagnosing steering rack/column knock?

I wonder if they will replace the entire column or just the shaft connecting the PAS motor to the steering rack (which makes more sense, financially speaking). The entire column costs more than 3,000 euros IIRC if bought from Renault

Converting degrees to mm? (alignment values)

You can also use this excel file: http://www.fiatforum.com/miscellaneous-guides/139390-tracking-toe-calculator.html It has helped a lot in the past ;)

    Weird water ingress issue

So I've noticed every time after I wash my 200 that water accumulates in the footwells, both driver and passenger sides. Originally I thought the culprit would be the drainage pipes behind the front scuttle panel. They were indeed clogged and I cleaned them thoroughly. Water no longer pools...

    Warning messages...please help.

Actually, all that's required to calibrate the ESP sensor on the steering column is, while stationary, to turn the steering wheel lock to lock (completely left and then completely right) and then center it. Takes less than 20 seconds :) Thing is, when disconnecting the battery, only the ASR/ESP...

Wheel alignment advice please (scan attached)

Everything looks fine, pretty much dead on except rear toe-in, but I've yet to see a Renault with spot-on toe at the back (torsion beam axle). If you 're OCD about it you can always install Renaultsport shims between the stub axles and the torsion beam and set the toe in to whichever degree...

Best way to clean leaves off engine bay

Yeah I remove the scuttle panel and clean the area there regularly, its incredible the stuff I find in there every time (cigarette butts even!). I guess a leaf blower is the best solution - I'm worried about caveats though, like a leaf finding its way where its not supposed to. On the other...

Best way to clean leaves off engine bay

So I live in an area with a lot of trees, which sadly means there are very few parking spots clear from trees. This means that every couple of days or so I will find a bird dropping or two on my 200 and tons of leaves under the wipers. Naturally, these leaves somehow find themselves within the...

ContiSportContact 5 vs Pilot Sport 3

Hahah, gotta love tyre discussions, three posts, three different recommendations :P I'll check prices for the F1s. Here in Greece the CS5s and PS3s are currently priced the same (~10 euro difference)

ContiSportContact 5 vs Pilot Sport 3

Well after four years my tyres are showing their age. Tread depth is ok but the tyres themselves have aged visibly. I am on the OEM CS3s now. I was thinking of moving up to the CS5s or the Michelin Pilot Sport 3s. What would you choose between these two?

    Steering Rack

The extended warranty is offered by a third-party (an insurance company). However, today they told me that I will not be paying anything after all :) Also, while I don't want to speak too soon, it seems the problem appears to be solved. And it seems like the steering has a better feel to...

    Steering Rack

That's what I thought too, but apparently I was wrong, they said there is a clause somewhere in the contract where it states that I have to pay a small percentage of the price of the part. I'll know more tomorrow.
