Another strange issue I've been having. The outside air temp gauge slowly but steadily rises by a degree every 30 seconds or so and at the same time the heaters blow cold. I am guessing the temp sensor in the mirror has died and is confusing the climate control system? Anybody had similar? oliver

I'm having a problem with one of my keycards. The car wouldn't detect the card unless I held it near the dash or put the card in the slot. Soon after a message told me to change the battery in the card. I did and it worked. Similarly the car doesn't detect the card if I try and open the car...

I stripped it all down and all was ok inside. Rebuilt, refitted and bled it. I manually adjusted the piston out to just before the pads contacted the disc and adjusted the handbrake to suit. All sorted

Cable is intact and in the holder. It would appear the adjuster inside the caliper isn't wprking. I've wound the piston back in and it doesn't come out to take the gap up so i get a long pedal. Guess I need to strip the caliper

Just wanted peoples opinion on this problem. My handbrake only locks on one side, i cant adjust the mech on the lever as this tightens both sides. Any thoughts? oliver

Just had to order a tyre after hitting a pothole. Wondered if a standard Mk3 clio wheel will fit a 197 as an emergency wheel. Anybody know if it will work? Oliver

I've seen a Liquid Yellow R27 parked in a couple of laybys around worcester off the M5. Nice to see another R27 locally. Had site stickers on rear windows.

Just to double check. I'm talking about the joint on the end of the lower wishbone that faces horizontally towards the front of the car.

Does anybody know if the ball joint on the lower wishbone is replaceable or if it's a whole new wishbone? On a 197 R27 Thanks oliver

Picked up my new R27 a couple of nights ago. Haven't driven much, but really enjoying it.
