Weird. My passenger one is coded out I think because the only fault I’m getting is driver side lateral sensor. I don’t have clip so can’t mess about myself

    The, “what is this?” thread

Just a brace, be ok to remove it.

Was it that two pin switch that I sent you on instagram? I never had a switch. Only thing keeping my airbag light on is I must've still had the side impact sensor connected when getting the light coded out as I only have a warning for that and when I reconnect it to the loom the light goes out.

I weighed the wiring that I removed as well as the sound tar sound deadening, not including the boot section as that was removed years ago. Came in at 10kg The wring was only removed from the connector in the passenger footwell back, not anything under the dash.

Thats the aim, I was really please with it before in the clubsport spec so I try my hardest to make a neat job of it all. The only thing really annoying me is the brackets that need removed on the interior and the fact its not painted. Next year hopefully if I can bring myself to remove the god...

Almost there with the build Put the cage in for the fifth and final time (for now, want to get the interior sprayed next year) Boot polished up and aero catch brakets made, underestimated the frustration of getting these brackets perfect but got there in the end. Dashboard cut for the...

    Battery relocation and wire tidying/removal

@Flyingfish Did you end up removing these relays? I'm at this stage currently and have a new junction box on standby to make if I can remove them

    Window switch / mirror adjuster

Looking to relocate the window switch and mirror adjuster from the driver door card to the centre consol. Does anyone know where to get wiring diagrams for this sort of stuff so I can either pull wires from i suspect the BCM or run new wires?

Took weights of the boots today. Standard weight was 19kg with a spoiler fitted too, no trims. The carbon boot was 4kg bare, no window fitted.

No need for a guide. Once you’ve stripped the car just removed the wires going to the stuff you no longer need. The boot is from Gtgramtech in Poland

Its not bad if you know how to de pin and are gentle enough. There is a huge amount of excess wiring once you get rid of the unnecessary. I've left the loom at the dash section for now and may tackle that in the future.

I believe the standard is 18-20kg and the carbon one is 3-4kg. Can't remember exactly

Got a work around for the image issues. Also forgot I fitted some Pure motorsport engine/gearbox mounts to replace the powerflex. I was not expecting it to be such a stark difference! Also a SW motorsport subframe brace

So booked a track day at the Ring for October which means time to make changes to the car once again. Going more track focused over the previous clubsport style, still not sure if I'm doing the right thing as it was pretty clean as it was but ah well. Started with the big strip out...
