Autec Wizards

Hi all,

I am looking to purchase a set of 17/7.5 wizards for my 200. However I have no idea what any of the ET business means, and I've read what I can find and still don't have a hope in fully understanding. I don't want my wheels to rub so am sticking with 215 tyres but I am running 25mm spacers. Are the wizards a bigger depth compared to the normal speedlines? Any link to a thread or some help would be great. Keep an eye out for 4x satin black speedlines on the for sale forums.

Cheers.

Iirc they're sold in 7.5x17 with an offset of et45 which is perfect for the clio, but you'll have to remove your spacers otherwise you're effectively running with an offset of et20, or to put it another way standard wheels with 48mm spacers (think how ridiculous that would look!). 215 tyres are perfect for 7.5 width.

So the wizards & no spacer would be a perfect arch filling fit?

Just as info. There's a new type of rim from Autec available which is called "Clubracing". From what I got they're ment to replace the Wizards. They're maybe also worth a look.
