Roshi's Progress Thread

No progress to report sadly but we got a good day here on Friday and I gave the car a good go over inside and out.

Bought some Chemical Guys XXX Hard core wax and Mad Cow Ultra Violet quick Detailer from Eddie here off the forums as I wanted a few coats of wax on before the winter weather and grit men get out!

So just posting a few good pics I got off it. Some glow of her now! Please delete if these are considered pornographic context as they are pretty sexy! [emoji23][emoji23]

They say its hard to get a white car to shine... Wheres the hard games at! [emoji3] no filtering at all on the pics. Just straight from the phone [emoji4]

That’s got some ‘pop’ for a white car - in less than perfect light levels ! Great work.

All that talk of winter and gritters makes me cringe when looking at a paint finish like yours :-(

So.... say and read all of Shuv's progress thread over the last few days and found links to the hoses used. I ordered yellow and red.

Yellow arrived today and a quick installation and wipe down happened. The difference is ridiculous for a 5 minute job.

Thanks for the 'inspiration' (I put that word in quotes as I have a check to use it, I blatantly just STOLE your idea!) hope you don't mind lol.

Think the yellow looks well with the yellow caps, dip stick etc.

Car is looking good! Do you have a link for these hoses? Quite fancy getting some for my Racing Blue.

Here's the link mate:

You need the 5mm ID / 10mm OD version. It comes in a metre toll and you just cut what you need.

So cheap and effective, takes you 2 mins to do.

Awesome, cheers bud. It's all about the little details that make the car stand out. Nice and cheap addition too lol

Small update but it's made me happy!

Got a new head unit the other day and FINALLY got the correct adapter for the aerial after halfords stroked me on the wrong one twice before!

I was using my phone and the radio app to play radio through Bluetooth fs! Lol.

And more importantly the last stereo shine a blue light and this one suits the interior a bit more. The other one was also missing the plastic surround from the front and it upset me on a daily basis. Stupid things that really don't matter piss me off so much [emoji23] [emoji16]

Also installed the wee microphone and it sits absolutely perfect behind the steering wheel, the wee clip that it sits on just slides on like it was made for it! Took the time to run the wire out of sight. Run it down through the plastic under the dash and out round the back of the centre console into the head unit.

Inexpensive but well pleased with it. Takes the daily ballache of it away!

Surprising how much of a difference a different head unit makes to the centre console, looking spot on!

The pictures come out strange. It looks much more red than it is. Looks quite similar to the rest of the interior. Especially if I turn the brightness of it down [emoji3]

Soooo after a year of owning the car I finally got round to changing the plates to get rid of them rotten branded Charles Hurst Dundonald ones (we all know they didn't care about me so why the f*** would I advertise for free for them! [emoji23]

Subtle change but big impact I think. Love them [emoji4]d45975f36a170191bc92e87224efb11d.jpgc6597382004bdc1eb0513707c993b276.jpga5f1e19c3ba2d066b4a2eff19aa6b8ca.jpg8cd89d02c3171c5bc9e44f89924817ce.jpg2862a717ddad160019c674c447ae2c8d.jpg482789a3a540c06054930de894190829.jpgfaf515d1d5b8f941c5b69337a8fcde33.jpg98be519fef45da019c87f1aae1cd3897.jpg

So another tiny thing that's annoyed me since I got the car has now been resolved.

Previous owner must have wore a ring!

Literally took about 3 minutes and Autoglym Super Resin and a microfibre did the job [emoji4]a619e4c82e6948aceec698a35c745633.jpgda55e359ec7167d4bb312d3f4a146d17.jpg9ee674f1a22cac72f36dfa69d6fd89bb.jpg75ed48d87fb4a2b1e8ffe3e5121a191f.jpg

Another small update but one that's been doing my head in.....

Finally got the B Pillars re-wrapped. Opted for carbon fibre and my uncle fitted them as he does van decals etc. Looks much better now!

Also thought while he was at it he might as well do my interior trim [emoji23] ordered some stickers for over it too
