JMR's LY200

Did you take them out the car to soak i could do with doing the same!

Yes mate, I unbolted the bottom of the seat belt rail but could I heck get the rear of the bracket out of the body!!
So it got bolted back in and I clipped a clothes peg at the top of the inertia reel when the belt was fully extended so it wouldn't recoil back.

Then soaked it in my wash bucket next to the car. I wanted to go back inside so I put the front seat forward and moved the bucket in to the rear footwell and locked the car up with the window down a little bit.

Worked a treat.

Good job..I hate doing mine every now and then but when they are done, they look really good again...
While you are on the scuttle panel, check if your drain holes arent blocked..

I'll be checking in the coming weeks, next time I have a bit of free time.
I've left it so the screen is all bedded in and bonded.

Glad you liked the Revive. Brilliant stuff.....and as i said i think; the only stuff ever to literally revive my greying black plastic roof runners on a previous car.

And belts look great ! Don't kid yourself though. I'm meticulous about dirt getting in my car in any way. I cleaned mine when i got it - and 15 months later did the same thing again. And they were dirty too......

Still. Looking great for now

Gearbox oil changed on Friday to Elf NFP

Changes are lovely and smooth, not that they were not smooth before.
Just preventative maintenance really - with the knowledge that the gearbox oil is fresh as can be.

Will be doing a long ish run in it tomorrow.
May whip the battery out later in the week and grease the selector cable bushings - again preventative maintenance.

If weather is ok at weekend, wheels will be off, panel wiped and sealed with the Gtechniq C5 I have bought just for this.
