Finally get my Clio back

After getting stitched up by one company, well 2 actually, BeanieSport in Milton Keynes came to my rescue! I can't thank Chris enough. He has been fantastic, always kept in touch, sent pictures as he was going along. His attention to detail on the build is just spot on.

My car was sent to him with no engine or box. I delivered him a car filled to the brim of my parts. Boxes and boxes of uncatalogued bits. Engine blocks, gearboxes, radiators, hoses, pumps, belts, bolts, nuts, gearboxes, trim and so on and so forth.

Fast forward a few months and my car is ready! Collecting it on Thursday, straight onto a ferry to Nurburgring. Best road test ever

I have never been in one let alone driven one lol. According to Chris, its a hoot lol

Well, mine is 277bhp and 285lb/ft and I love it, it's totally transformed the car into what Renault should have built, so with 300bhp and 321lb/ft I can only imagine it being mental. Keep an eye on the engine with that torque figure though, unless you have a forged bottom end, in which case enjoy!
Do you have a progress thread? If not, get one up detailing the spec etc.

It's fully forged. ED said it can be pushed more, but as it's a new build, he didn't want to put unnecessary stress on it just yet.

It's a bit good isn't it Its the half decent intercooler doing its job.

Unfortunately my average size balls are playing no part in it . My boss has a hold of one and the wife has the other one. In all of the 52 weeks of the year, it's next week or never.

Ha, mate, I'm not risk averse. I like it when people push the boat out!

Looking forward to hopefully hear some very positive reports of how it behaves at the ring!

And yeah, it's pretty insane. Must completely change the characteristics of the drive. Like you're being pushed along by a speeding train!
