changed my front pads today now im finally off work
being my second 197 i knew the pins were going to be a bugger to get out especially as its an 07 plate.
since ive only had the car since late august thought it now time to change them as they were feeling abit too worn for my liking.
started off by hamering them out with a drive punch this resulted in no movement at all so onto plan B!
the grinder!! grinded down the middle of the pins and one on one side came out all the 3 parts left would not budge for love nor money!
so after consulting a responsible adult i got a specialist in to drill them out!!
and they eventually came out but some parts had fused inside the whole itself so took abit of work and alot of frantic worry to get the new pins in so as you'd probably have guessed most of my day was spent on this but its now done and running just fine
did the rears no problem whatsoever apart from not having the right size socket to start with
