My new engine work!!!!!

Don't forget a new gearbox to cope with the torque of a forced engine (don't really think the std one would last long) and a LSD to bring the power on the road :biggrin:

kevo.. 40bhp is too for me.. ok the response but 40bhp you must work on the head engine and cams too

shortly i'll work on a head engine, what cams do you recommend?

stndard box would be fine with forced induction, but the LSD is a good shout.

F4R 830 engine wouldnt be a good base for forced induction though, far better dropping in a F4Rt mated to the standard box :wink:


What happened to Seans? Was this the one that was going to GDi?

No head work! It has cams!

It made 184 STD!! I got my workings wrong lol! I worked it out from what its now at 170!

It will be nearer 30BHP up on STD!

You say that, but wasnt RS Tuning running 300bhp on standard internals during testing of the 1*2 kit?

I remember him saying he was pushing it to breaking point, but that it never popped?

Nb I could be completely wrong and have simply dreamnt this...
 
Why would you run an engine until it breaks? There are other methods to deteminate how much the internals can handle :mellow:
