is it wierd to wave at other clio owners

been driving around the last few days and seen a few rs clios about, so i tend to wave at them but dont get anything back. am i being wierd. ive had classic minis so ive got in the habit of doing it lol

the bmw mini drivers wave 2 each other lorry drivers farmers ect lol i wave 2 and flash at any drivers when im bored to c if they wave back then they must sit all day trying 2 think who it is lol

My brother has a mini and he's done this for years and always recieved very friendly response back, its quite unique.

I only ever wave or flash other modified clios, got some strange looks in the past with standard RS's

he waves at a white 200 couple of times a wek and always gets a wave back. I also got a smart fortwo and its only the older models that wave each other not the newer ones

it defiently started as a mini thing, my dad and i are mini through and through!!
well maybe not started, wrong word, but it is well known in the mini scene.
you get it with a lot of classic sports cars/normal cars too, i like it!!

I would definitely wave back if someone waved at me...

My first car was a Mini, and we also had an MG Midget until recently..Mg owners wave all the time..

Ive always done it. But only to those people that would be likely to wave/flash their lights back at you.

EG. When i always had Mk1/Mk2 Golf GTIs, i would flash at other Mk1/Mk2 GTIs. Same with the Clio. I only do it back to other RS Clio/Meganes.

Always did this as biker, do so in the car if possible but usually your passing each other too fast and it's hard to see inside a car

Had a guy in a megane 250 wave at me once, didn't expect it so I didn't have time to wave back. Don't think i've ever driven past another 197/200 so never had the chance to wave lol

juat realised the way my post sounded was like a "hiii yaaaa" anic: wave at people but it is more of a "nice car" hand up and back on the wheel

worked out ive seen 5 in the past week hand up at all of them and nothin :'(

Think its just RS owner's who don't wave back, ive let on to loads of RS and prob only had one wave back out of 20.

Now for some reason ive had loads of Subaru and Evo drivers wave at me (or give the thumbs up)
