The 519 197 now with added standalone!

Not sure yet. I have a lot of parts but there's a lot of work needed and an ECU decision to make. One the weather turns the mx5 will be my daily again and I'll have the Clio in bits

Some progress, got the manifold all welded up and sourced the bends I need

So mostly things have stalled with this due to moving to a larger workshop (right nextdoor) where we've been building a dyno room, and setting up a much improved facility

I did manage to get the car off to Canems a few weeks ago, and today I had a call that made me very happy

The new Canems sequential ECU. Includes drive-by-wire throttle control, CANbus control, onboard data logging with enough room for around a year of continuous data. 2 channel closed loop knock control, digi-dash support and many more functions.

We now have the car starting on the standard button (others have had to add a bypass for this or use the conventional key setup found in cups) running the dash, with no warning lights, and a multitude of CANbus functions operating. The big deal though, is we have kept FBW throttle, which is fully mappable for response.

Dan, would this mean that the oportunity to run throttle bodies on the 197 is likely to be an easier task now, if matched with a Canems ECU via yourself?
assuming (and im sure it does) it supports the suitable program to control ITB's?
