Yeah best thing I ever did was strip it. I've only ever had a need to put the seats back in once in 2 years, not worth even having them there for me.

It's practical for me in the sense that I only need 2 seats and a massive boot, this delivers lol!

It's a full size 3.5hp mower and a large set of draws haha! Certainly not disappointed.

I'd quite like to find the same gear gaiter but don't want the gear knob because I think that the latter should only be reserved for the Gordini models. Not sure that it would be that tricky to replace but I can't find a replacement one from the Gordini. There was one on eBay but it's a past listing. I'm going to just keep my eye out. That with colour matched interior trim might be quite cool.

In other news, I unseized my wiper mechanism and ended up damaging my scuttle panel bu putting it back on in the wrong position and the fact that I only had a socket set to reassemble so the wipers go down a tad then up lmao. Picking up a wrench set tomorrow to solve it.

Wrapped the rear. Attempted to do it on the car 4 times and failed 4 times. Then I read that you can just pull the damned thing off! Luckily I didn't mark any of my paint attempting this.

Here's the finished result.

I'd give the finish a 4/10 as it was my first time wrapping. I consider this to be 'acceptable'.

I'm going to do the front next week. Hopefully it has a bit of a better finish to it.

Left ball joint (right has been done)
Varley red top battery,
Millers Gear Box oil,
Replace upper engine mount bolts (received them today from SJM after 5 weeks).

He's driving exceptional well.
