Well back from RS tuning. Cars all done.

Did a run stock, run with just exhaust and run with zorst / map...

Here's the graph.

Drives loads better. Its smoother and pulls really strong. The mid punch is very noticeable so picks up out bends alot better. Sounds bloody good too!! Very happy

Chris the 183 bhp is the engine or at the wheels?
Why I am asking, because when mine was measured, the 185 bhp was at the engine, which was only 160ish at the wheels, pls check my graph at my thread:flacsi's racing red

Yeh 180 -185 seems be norm for standard cars sadly, I've got a fuel graph I'll post up later. Be something to think about for guys who just put exhaust on with no map.

Oh!.......and I've just gone and booked RST...I'll await your latest info. Car all ready for Cadwell?

Chris, I think we are at the same shoes or on the same path: building our cars for time-attacks/track-days.

Based on what made your decision on Bilstein B14, pls?
http://www.bilstein.de/en/products/sport-and-threaded-ride-high-adjustable-kits/bilstein-b14/

its a ride height adjustable coilover used in Toyota GT86 TRD also, pretty similar to KW V1, it cost around €1k

the next step: parallel setting of the rebound and compression phases, like Bilstein B16 and KW V3, cost around €1.8k

the final step is the clubsport, from €2.4k

So do we need a coilover, which only lowers our car OR if we invest, would it be better to invest more so we can change the rebound and compressions also?
Or its all about money, again?

the cost of buying them is not the issue, it's the time it take to set them up right that's the problem. If have time it's fine but I'm on abit of a limited build time atm.

U need spend money on few track days to keep playing with them. If I feel need for better suspension in future I'll go for the AST's. As out of all
them they easiest to adjust with little knob at top but also the dearest.

atm I feel happy with the b14s and sure with addition off the top mounts there will be even more of a improvement. I'll soon find out as hoepfully be at oulton park next week for a trackday and see how car Is.

Here's the fueling graph....

Middle line is map / zorst
Top is just the zorst , as can see it runs abit leaner but not massively

@Chris_200CUP

and a couple of p.s.

p.s. 1 - remap - without the zorst would you say this is worth it? Not planning on laying out over the standard zorst unless it goes kaput ATM.

p.s. 2 - top mounts - how much were they if you don't mind my asking? I have some of the powerflex bushes that allow for camber adjustment and also castor which I was going to fit along with the B14s when that finally happens to give some more -ve camber and added castor but wondering if the top mounts are potentially a better solution?

Hi ,

track is tomoz! So will let you know!

yes map alone is well worth it, take away the figures. The car will drive totally different. A lot smoother, actually feel it pulling stronger And revs harder past 4.5k. Also low down power ( torque ) is noticeable.

Had top mounts of guy on here from Italy. 300 quid including postage. Defo a better option than camber bolts mate

Cheers for tempting me to spend more £s!!!!

These are the powerflex bushes - not the same as camber bolts?
