Project thread for the car - Cars going be used for track and hopefully some time attack events.

Cadwells in 33 days so be trying best get ready in 3 weeks and hopefully fit track day in too!

Here's the car ...

Bits ordered today from Cazan, Angel has been very helpful and be cracking service as always !

Bilstien b14s
2 piece dics
ds2500 pads
panel filter
torque mount

Also ordered bought full akrapovic exhuast and HEL/KTEC brake lines have turned up today! Hopefully Tweeks will have my tyres in Friday so beable go pick up my oz alloys and semi slicks.

Then need book in with RS tuning for a day so get exhuast on and get car mapped.

Its all go!!! lol

Happy days, Exhaust has turned up and omp subframe...

Whip the seat out ar weekend and have a trail fitment see how bucket seat goes and get driving position right.


Exhaust is getting fitted at RS tuning so can have a before (standard car) and then After with remap, zorst and panel filter.... might make hole 8bhp lol

The OMP subframes are junk, they don't take into account the steering wheel offset. I've got 2 that I need to put on eBay.

Better of with the Sparco/Oreca item as that does, however it doesn't suit my Recaro bolt spacing so that also needs eBay! lol

Took out some real out tonight and got rear eye bolts in. Lucky had some right size!

future ref for anyone, thread size for the belt one is 10mm and buckle one is 12mm

Been Tweeks today picked up alloys/tyres and few other bits. Thanks to tony @Demon Tweeks for sorting me out.

:001_tt1::001_tt1::001_tt1: Really do suit the clio these alloys! Just need the billys now to close that arch gap.


Also picked up few other bits and the cool down warning light arrived today. Another job to do lol

Side mounts now here so beable try getting the seat fitted, After having quick measure might need run some box section to bring seat up abit more as steering wheel doesn't drop low enough but will have too see when its all in.

^^ £155 , most dearest light ever !!!! Ha (needed for TA)
