Unlocked car in garage with fob - walked back in with keys.

Will see whats happened in a bit if i go back to car: leaving fob in the house......

Ok - Test 1:

Unlocked car via fob (Didn't open door) - came inside.

Went back out (Leaving keys inside) and car has locked itself.

Unlocked car via fob - opened car door and shut it again. Came inside, read a few posts. Got the pi55 ripped out me.

Went back out (Leaving fob inside) - car HASN'T locked itself.

Don't know where I got 40 seconds from, like a sad I timed it 2 minutes exactly to lock again if no doors are opened.

I think we were all lost in translation last night. We can confirm no doors opened the 197/200 will auto lock, doors open then you have to manual lock. At least we had a laugh!

Yes, nobody seemed that impressed with the boot lid locking button though!

But what if a solenoid fails and your pride and joy is insecure?

If the solenoid or fob battery fail, you can still lock it using the key and the keyhole in the passenger-side handle.
