All sorted - brand new seat cover and seat base/foam. Chuffed as they seem to have done a decent job...i'll see how it goes before passing final judgement!

Good result. I ended up just biting the bullet with my standard seat and had it re-stuffed myself. The guy that did it said the foam was inadequate and was just really soft and crumbly. He packed it with some more firm foam and it was great! I kept finding bits on the carpet like you were.

yeah I'm sure it will probably happen time and time again with the materials they use.

Probably - although I am hoping that this was a case of it wasn't right from the factory. Looks like this 'may' last a bit longer.
