wondering under acceleration and braking?

so the clio has started to feel a little unstable under acceleration and braking and feels like its wandering all over the place. the car really tramlines on the a1 worse than it used to. not looked at anything yet but whats the symptoms of the hub ball joints and anyone any idea or had similar symptoms?

I'd start with the simple tracking check, could have hit a pot hole with these shocking roads and knocked it out.

Get the tracking checked, if its not that then I'd be looking at track rod end/ ball joint play. They should be able to tell you either of those while doing the tracking though.

just try the basics first, rather than thinking big money.
