Wiper Blade

Hi all,

Just thought id post up quickly just to see if anyone else had this problem.

Turned on the wipers this morning and the blades seem to "shudder" about abit when moving.

The speed of the blades are still the same, no slowing down etc.

I have cleaned the blades, but still nothing.

Any ideas?

Change them mate.did mine yesterday they looked ok but they obviously wernt because the new ones don't do it

You haven't cleaned it have you? The wiper last 2 years from my experience of them so far. Mine split on the blade in the centre.

When i say "cleaned" Just used a cloth to wipe the blade.

Did you use anything on it? Might be that? I used rain x on my windows, which improves visibility in the rain. But it made the wipers judder terrible!

Not that i know of Arran,

Il give them a clean with water this evening.

I clean mine with Viniger and tissue ( Im not joking! )

if its not the blades need replacing it might be the rain corroding the spindles - there is a guide on here somewhere on how to fix -(rich something i think)

Change mine every 18 months for what they cost

Have a look at silicone wiper blades. They leave a film on the screen that aids the beading of rain.

PIAA do some.
