Wiper blade replacement

I know this is very very basic and I don't usually have a problem with any car but I can't get the blades to move at all.

I assume that the two lugs are depressed (a bit like me today!) and that should release the metal blade?

They can be a bit of a pig to take off, they do need a bit of force to squeeze and then slide it off, especially if they've been on a while.

I had to use a monument spanner (for sinks etc) the ends of it come round at 90 degrees.i carefully put one end under wiper arm where it pushes on with a bit of rag to protect arm and then used a hammer on other end which you can hit up on to it.worked a treat but I had to give it some was proper stuck on.

Wiper ARMS -that's easy!

Anyway had to smash both the plastic clips on the blades and a good force of screwdriver on the metal arm to get them off .

The new Bosch blades just fitted perfectly ,very easily and do (as usual) a superb job.
